MULROY COLLEGE
Make an Enquiry
Mulroy College, an esteemed post-primary school nestled in Milford, County Donegal, has a rich history dating back to the early 1950s. Serving a vast catchment area that extends across the Rosguill and Fanad Peninsula, Rathmullan, Ramelton, and the surrounding locales, the community at Mulroy College is expanding year by year.
A recent addition to the school’s infrastructure is an 860sqm modular classroom block, set to enhance the learning environment and meet the growing needs of the student body. This new facility, designed with a sargasso and oyster grey color scheme inspired by the scenic Mulroy Bay, is a nearly zero-energy building (nZeb) spread across two floors.
Adjacent to the main school building, the new modular block comprises seven mainstream classrooms, three Special Education Teacher (SET) rooms, two offices, and washroom facilities. Engineered with sustainability in mind, this highly insulated and airtight modular building has already achieved a ‘best in class’ BER A rating. This accomplishment not only reflects a commitment to environmental responsibility but also promises increased efficiency in the school’s future operational costs.
For this project, JP Corry, a leading provider of high-quality building materials, supplied the doors, ensuring durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal.
